Victor Hugo said: “The most important quality for a man is kindness.” Why kindness is important?

Kindness is one most important quality for human being distinguish from the animal. Without kindness, the human being will selfish, indifferent, no sympathy and have no difference from animal.

There are many news about how people unfilial, hurt others maliciously, corrupted and many other immorality. Besides of they are lack of conscience, more important, they had no kindness. Kindness is to understand each other, care about others. A kind people would like to help others, he will accept the faults in a person. He would not hurt others, and always choose the right to do.

Kindness is important for not only people but also important to the country and the world. If countries have a kind heart, there won’t be wars, and the whole world can be in harmony which will benefit everyone.

Currently, the frequent job-hopping of graduates has aroused wide concern among the public. Does anyone hold the same attitude toward this phenomenon? Definitely not. As to this issue, opinions vary from person to person.

Those who hold the opinion that job-hopping is beneficial to graduates claim that by doing so, the youngsters are more likely to have a better knowledge of (更了解)other fields and then to expand their horizons(開闊視野). Moreover, changing jobs frequently offers workers a chance to move up to a better position(到更好的工作崗位).

However, others take a totally different view that job-hopping is detrimental to ones career development. For one thing, as the common saying goes,a rolling stone gathers no moss. (滾石不生苔)The more frequent you change your job, the less likely you are to be an expert in a particular area.(在某個特定的領(lǐng)域) Secondly, this behavior will leave on the employers an impression of (給雇主留下印象)instability and immaturity(不穩(wěn)定和不成熟).

It is no wonder that ,when interviewing a candidate, a employer will raise a question (提問) likeyouve changed jobs quite frequently. How do we know youll stay if we hire you?

  上大學(xué)(go to colleges and universities)

people attend college or university for many reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation, increased knowledge.) why do you think people attend college or university? use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

people attend college or universities for a lot different reasons. i believe that the three most common reasons are to prepare for a career, to have new experiences, and to increase their knowledge of themselves and the world around them.

career preparation is becoming more and more important to young people. for many, this is the primary reason to go to college. they know that the job market is competitive. at college, they can learn new skill for careers with a lot of opportunities. this means careers, such information technology, that is expected to need a large workforce in the coming years.

also, students go to colleges and universities to have new experiences. this often means having the opportunity to make people different from those in their hometowns. for most students, going to college is the first time they’ve been away from home by themselves. in addition, this is the first time they’ve had to make decisions on their own. making these decisions increases their knowledge of themselves.

besides looking for self-knowledge, people also attend a university or college to expand their knowledge in subjects they find interesting. for many, this will be their last chance for a long time to learn about something that doesn’t relate to their career.

i would recommend that people not be so focused on a career. they should go to college to have new experiences and learn about themselves and the world they live in.

Recently, Beijing Education Department has announced that the full mark of English in the college entrance examination in20xx will be 100 points, which has dropped 50 points from previous years. While the Chinese will be 180 points, the mathematics remains the same, still 150points. After the news has been exploded, this policy has caused great attention among the public. Some people even wonder: do we still need English as before? And the status of English still remains the same in China? Well, asfar as I am concern, English still an indispensable part of our daily lives.

Firstly, English language is of crucial important in international cooperation and exchange. In this competitive world,no country can survive without any other contact with other countries. And through out all the interactions, English, as a global language, is the bridgefor us to communicate with other people who from different culture, different countries. Two thirds of the world trade is conducted in English. In order to perform our duties and enjoy our rights as a significant member of WTO, we doneed English by all means.

Secondly, English is compulsory inelementary, secondary and further education. One has to pass the English tests to get his certifications. Although we don’t need English so much in our daily lives, when we turn on the computer, listen to the radio, we may find English is everywhere. So, it’s quite necessary for all of us to master a foreign language. Even in the developed countries, students are required tolearn at least one foreign language. And learning English makes contributions to one’s development to some extent.

Although the English marks of college entrance examination will drop to 100, we still need English in our daily lives. With the rapid development of economic and cultural globalization, learning English is still the tendency for the young generations. It’s not only the tool for people to communicate, but also the golden key to get personal development.

More and more college students, in recent years, are finding it difficult to find jobs. This may sound strange since college students used to be the "most favored" people in society. They have received a higher education, hence they are more intelligent, knowledgeable than their counterparts who failed to attend college. But chances are that some of them can hardly find jobs after graduating from colleges.

There are two reasons that account for this strange phenomenon. One is that some college students cannot come to terms with themselves and with the world around them. They pursue too high goals and are too particular about such factors as working conditions, salary, and so on. Therefore, they are reluctant to accept the job when they are offered to them. Another reason is that the majors some students pursue do not match with the demands of the job market. As a result, they can only sit and miss opportunities.

To solve this problem, I think college students should know their own strengths and weaknesses and have the right attitude towards themselves and the job vacancies. In addition, they should not attach too much importance to material aspects of the job. They should put priority to their future development and their contributions to society in stead. Furthermore, they should think of receiving some further training to meet the demands of society.

After entering college,we found, to our surprise, that differences between high school life and college life are great. In high school,we always depended on our parents and teachers to solve all kinds of difficult problems. At college, however,we have to rely exclusively on ourselves. What's more, we have to learn how to get along with our classmates and roommates.

Four years at college is an important yet very short period of time in our life.So it is always expected that we adapt to this life as quickly as possible. But it is a pity that not everyone can do so immediately. Here are some suggestions.

First, get familiar with the main buildings on the campus.Spend one or two hours by yourself or with your classmates to go around the campus so that you can know the location of such important places as the library, the dining room, the post office, the clinic and classrooms.Next, try to be independent.Learn to do such things as making sound decisions on how to spend your time, how to spend your money etc,and washing clothes on your own.

Furthermore, form good study habits.Talk with your classmates and learn from their good habits. Finally, try to take part in all kinds of activities to get out of your solitude and get on well with your classmates.

from the window of my room, i could see a tall cotton-rose hibiscus. in spring, when green foliage was half hidden by mist, the tree looked very enchanting dotted with red blossom. this inspiring neighbor of mine often set my mind working. i gradually regarded it as my best friend.

nevertheless, when i opened the window one morning, to my amazement, the tree was almost bare beyond recognition as a result of the storm ravages the night before. struck by the plight, i was seized with a sadness at the thought all the blossom is doomed to fall. i could not help sighing with emotion: the course of life never runs smooth, for there are so many ups and downs, twists and turns. the vicissitudes of my life saw my beloved friends parting one after another. isn’t it similar to the tree shedding its flowers in the wind?

this event faded from my memory as time went by. one day after i came home from the countryside, i found the room stuffy and casually opened the window. something outside caught my eye and dazzled me. it was a plum tree all scarlet with blossom set off beautifully by the sunset. the surprise discovery overwhelmed me with pleasure. i wondered why i had no idea of some unyielding life sprouting over the fallen petals when i was grieving for the hibiscus.

when the last withered petal dropped, all the joyful admiration for the hibiscus sank into oblivion as if nothing was left, until the landscape was again ablaze with the red plum blossom to remind people of life’s alternation and continuance. can’t it be said that life is actually a symphony, a harmonious
