it is reported that the health of young people in china, college students in particular, is not as good as is supposed to be. there are many reasons for this fact, but the main reason is that many people ignore the importance of physical eercises.
why, then, are physical eercises so important to our health? first, physical eercises can improve blood circulation, speeding up the supply of nutrients and oygen to every part of the body and the removal of waste from the blood through sweating and ehalation. secondly, physical eercises can promote a healthy metabolism. it helps with the digestion and absorption of food, thus giving everyone a good appetite. thirdly, physical eercise can help consume ecessive fat in the body, preventing people from putting on too much weight, thus keeping them in good shape. finally, after physical eercises we usually need a good rest and a sound sleep at night, refreshing us for the net day＇s work.

There is no denying the fact that the introduction of the Golden Week holidays in China has considerably promoted the development of the nation’s economy and touring industry and enriched people’s life. People around the country have spent more time and money traveling and relaxing themselves.
As every coin has two sides, the Golden Week holidays have also brought about piles of problems. For one thing, due to the fact that people across the country are spending their vacations during the same period of time, it is terribly crowded almost everywhere: trains, buses, hotels, scenic spots, etc., which have ruined people’s mood for vacations. For another, some businessmen take advantage of the weeklong holidays and raise the priced of commodities and services.
Personally, I believe that it is necessary for people to have long vacations, but there is no need for them to have the vacations during the same period of time. he was so addicted to tobacco that he couldnt even skip acigarette in the corridor at the interval between two classes. due to the long time consumption of cigarettes, his teeth had gone totally bad and occasionally let off unpleasant smell which really disturbed us when we were talking to him. at times, he came to recognize it and consequently found out a solution. he suggested we write down our problems and he answer them in the written form. although i knew all along that he was a careful man, his quotations of five different dictionaries on a single multiple choice problem was still beyond my wildest dream.
whats more, none of us could imagine how ecellent his ancient chinese literature was. what he tended to do in his class was to recite several segments of the famous ancient prose and then put them into english. however, under the pressure of college entrance eam, the students didnt seem to be so interested in his performance. therefore, he tried to stimulate the class by editions of times as prizes for answering questions. it worked on us instantly.
on the day of the entrance eam, he waited nervously with us out of the eamination room. he kept reminding us not to drink water in case that we would feel like going to toilet during the eam. not withstanding his constant claims that we students were far less important than his beloved daughter, we did feel his devotion to us.

As far as I am concerned, college marriage is a sharp double-bladed knife.By weighing the arguments of both sides, I believe that it is OK to allow college students to get married. That some college students at a local university hired a cleaner to do laundiy and cleaning once a week has led to a heated debate. Some people advocate and support the practice. Others, however, argue that hiring cleaners could help students save time and devote to their studies is merely a pretext* Typically, college education is not dominated by heavy loads of coursework and college students have ample time to manage their own afeirs apart &om studies. Usually, those students who claim they are too busy to clean their own dorms are most often found preoccupied with playing computer games or shopping. They refuse to do manual labor because they tend to regard themselves as elites once they succeed in entering a college.
Personally, I think college students shouldn't hire cleaners. In performing the cleaning himself/herselft a college student learns to share the responsibility for managing a public space of which one is a part. And by doing so, the student also shows respect for the common welfare of the entire dorm- Cleaning one's own dorm is a small but necessary process whereby one becomes a responsible person.
