教案(一)Unit 5 First Aid (1st Period)
A Teaching Plan of Unit 5 First Aid (1st Period) The first period of Unit 5 First Aid Book 5 is a speaking class. The main task of this period is to require the students to talk about how to do first aid according to the pictures given, so as to get the students interested in the topic of this unit. After warming up, the students will know some dos and don’ts at home from the safety instructions. Then the students will be required to make their own dialogue with the given useful sentence patterns. According to the requirement of “developing students’ ability of listening and speaking”in the teaching program, I set the following teaching objectives. 1. Help the students to improve their speaking ability by talking about first aid and medicine. 2. Learn and master some useful words and phrases: drown, bleed, choke, prevent, electric, electrical, catch fire, be on fire. 教學重難點: 1. Train the students’ listening ability. 2. How to help the students finish the speaking practice. 為了激發(fā)學生對文中的話題做積極的思維與討論,鼓勵他們開口說話,進行大量的輸入和輸出。我運用快速問答、小測試、逼真的圖片、對話示范手段和活動,為學生營造一個富有實踐意義的交際情景,激發(fā)了學生對英語的好奇心和對話題的探究興趣,并積極開口交往,培養(yǎng)了學生的想象能力和交際能力。 Teaching Procedures: Step One:Warming up (用快速問答引出本課話題)。 T: Have you ever had an accident or have you ever seen an accident? S: … T: If a person gets hurt, should we wait for doctors to come? S: No. we should give first aid. 這時,在屏幕上打出本單元的主題。 T: What words and phrases should we use to talk about accidents and first aid? 如果學生說不出,就把單詞或詞組一個個打在屏幕上并領讀。這一步為下一步做準備。 T: How much do you know about first aid? Let’s have a quiz. Step Two:A quiz (給出四道選擇題,讓學生選出正確答案。) Step Three:看圖說話。 T: You have done a good job. Next, let’s see some pictures about accidents. What should we do and what should we not do in these situations? What should we do to prevent these accidents happening? 在屏幕上呈現一幅幅畫面,讓學生逐一描述。有困難時,打出字幕給予幫助。其目的是激活學生頭腦中的英語單詞來表達自己的觀點,鍛煉他們的口語能力。 Step Four:對話操練 T: Jus now we have discussed what we should do when some accidents happen. But you know certain things at home can be dangerous. So we must know what we should do and shouldn’t do. Please look at the screen. Here are some dos and don’ts. I will give you five minutes to make a dialogue according to a situation. One student is a mother or a father, the other is a daughter or a son. The mother or father will go away for a few days. He or she is worrying about his or her son or daughter, so he or she tells the daughter or son what he or she should pay attention to at home. In order to help you, I will give you a sample: A: Mother B: Son A: Tom, I’ll go to New York on business. Can you take care of yourself when I am away? B: No problem, mum. How long will you stay there? A: About two weeks. You must be careful when you are cooking. If a pan of oil catches fire, turn off the as and cover the pan quickly. B: I know. A: But do you know what number you should dial when an accident happens? B: Mum. I have no idea. A: You should dial 110 when an accident happens. And, don’t play with electrical equipment. Do you remember? B: I have remembered all of it. Have a nice trip, mum 對話范例使學生對對話的目標更為明確,完成任務更加容易,使大部分學生有話可說。這個活動培養(yǎng)了學生的英語交際能力、思維能力、想象能力和創(chuàng)造能力,再次體現了以學生為主體的教學原則。調動了學生的學習積極性。) Step Five:總結 T: Today, we have talked about what we should do in case of accidents. And we have also learned what we shouldn’t do at home. After class we should remember them. If you want to know more about first aid, you can preview the reading passage. That’s all for today. 【教學反思】 授課完畢后,我覺得這節(jié)課有如下優(yōu)點: 1 、整個教學過程的設計科學合理,在著重培養(yǎng)學生口語能力的同時,兼顧培養(yǎng)了學生的聽的能力,符合教學大綱的要求。 2 、教學中以學生為主體。在授課過程中 , 我注意了自己角色的轉換和控制 , 安排多樣的學生活動,學生有自由發(fā)揮的空間,讓學生努力實踐和展示自己。 2、注意激發(fā)學生的學習興趣和學習動機。用問答的形式吸引學生的注意力;用競賽的形式調動學生的積極性;用多媒體的手段豐富學生的感官刺激;創(chuàng)設豐富的語言環(huán)境,讓學生發(fā)揮他們的想象力,激發(fā)了學生的學習動機。 3、注意培養(yǎng)學生的創(chuàng)造性思維。在授課過程中,我給學生提供了一個開放的空間,如:用看圖說話的形式,讓學生自由發(fā)揮想象力,描述事故現場。并通過設問的形式,充分挖掘學生的思維。 4、注意培養(yǎng)學生的協(xié)作精神。課堂教學組織形式有 “ 全班活動” 、 “四人一組討論 ” 、 “兩人一組編對話” ,讓學生互相學習,共同探討,在團結協(xié)作、共同進步的氛圍中學習。 不足之處是: 1、在看圖說話時,學生情緒有些緊張、拘緊,不大容易放開,影響了他們的正常發(fā)揮。 2、在備課的過程當中,由于對學生的整體水平估計過高,使得熱身時間稍長。如果能安排一個現場急救演示,把時間重新調整,會使這節(jié)課更有意義。【教案一Unit 5 First Aid (1st Period)】相關文章:
