“Good afternoon, my dear friends.

　　I am very happy to meet you here.It is my great honor to communicate with you at such a special occation.First of all,please allow me to express my appreciation to you all to listion to me.

　　I am proud of being a college student.The collegelife is fresh,new teachers, new classmates and new friends. I like the friendship, and their wide knowledge and opening mind. The grand library, school buildings and wide playground attrattde me very much.My college life is better than I expected, I can do anything I like. In the college we can not only learn the professional knowledge,but also develop our comprehensive abilities.If we can make full use of the period,we can learn many useful things.Besides,we should have the active attitude to our life,do a contributionto the society.”

　　“l(fā)adies and gentlemen , good afternoon! i’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech.”

　　“good evening , ladies and gentlemen . i am joy and glad to give you a speech about stress , yes , just the topic you see on the screen.

　　　 psychologist tell us that stress is a state of worry caused by the problem of living , such as too much work or study , heavy responsibilities , and quickened pace of life .

　　　 statistics show that stress comes from every detail in our life . financial problems , poor health , being laid off may be the stress that most adults now suffering . as students in the university , we are also under our special stress . while study , having to take various tests and submit a project against a deadline may put a great pressure on us . and the things make us felt stressed may be our parents’s greater expectations on us than we could reach . later , when we are likely to graduate , some other problems will also annoy us . i think we will worry a lot about our ability to compete in the job market and how we can best use what we’ve learned at college in our future job .

　　　 the chief problem we should face to is our atitude towards stress .people usually say they can not live in the sun except they escape from stress . it’s unwelcome ! yes , however , very necessary . just image a world where stress does not exist and people lead their life in a very comfortable way . but is this kind of living condition as perfect as we hope ? without stress , they may feel very satisfied with the current life but lack of power to discover new things . too much result in nothing except a countermarch of the society . no stress , no development . so a certain amount of stress is good . ”

　　“Finally, I hope everybody can try their best to become a worthy person to our country, and make great contributions to the society!”

　　We all want to believe that we are capable of great feats , of reaching our fullest potential .

　　　　我們相信自己有成就偉業(yè)的能力，能發(fā)揮出自己最大的潛力。

　　We need dreams . 我們需要夢想。

　　　　They give us a vision of a better future . 它會(huì)給我們展現(xiàn)一番更好的前景。

　　They nourish our spirit ,they represent possibility even then we are dragged down by reality .

　　　　它能滋養(yǎng)我們的靈魂，夢想代表一種可能性，盡管它會(huì)受到現(xiàn)實(shí)的羈絆。

　　They keep us going . 夢想讓我們勇往直前。

　　　　Most successful people are dreamers . 多數(shù)成功人士都是夢想家。

　　Dreamers are not content with merely mediocre ,because no one ever dreams of going half way .

　　夢想家不滿足于平庸，因?yàn)檎l都不希望半途而廢。

　　When I was a little girl , I didn’t dream of a life of stryggle and frustration .

　　孩提時(shí)，我不曾夢想過自立而充滿挫折的生活。

　　I dreamed of doing something big and splashy ,something significant .

　　卻夢想做一些轟轟烈烈而有意義的大事。

　　I dreamed big .我夢想成為偉人。

　　　　But now , I become realistic . 但是現(xiàn)在，我很現(xiàn)實(shí)。

　　I have a dream that I can have my own firm one day .

　　　　我有一個(gè)夢想，將來的某一天，我能有一個(gè)自己的`公司。

　　Because I major in economic , I can use my special knowledge to run the company .

　　因?yàn)槲抑餍藿?jīng)濟(jì)，能夠用自己的專業(yè)知識(shí)經(jīng)營公司。

　　When I have a lot of money , I will donate some of them to help others .

　　將來有了錢，我會(huì)捐出一部分幫助其他人。

　　　　My dreams are worthless , my plans are dust , my goals are impossible .

　　　　我的夢想毫無價(jià)值，我的計(jì)劃無足輕重，我的目標(biāo)遙不可及。

　　All are of no value unless they are followed by action .

　　除非我付出行動(dòng)，否則一切都將毫無意義。

　　Action is the food and drink which will nourish my success .

　　行動(dòng)就像食物和水分一樣，會(huì)滋養(yǎng)我的成功之花。

　　If I don’t take any actions to realize my dream , it will become a fantasy .

　　如果我不采取行動(dòng)實(shí)現(xiàn)我的夢想，它就會(huì)變成空想。

　　　　When I was little , I dreamed big .孩提時(shí)，我夢想成為偉人。

　　It’s a pity for me that I didn’t do anything to approach it .

　　　　我沒有做任何事情去實(shí)現(xiàn)它，這是我人生中的一個(gè)遺憾。

　　I always think that when I grow up , I can take some actions .

　　我總是認(rèn)為等我長大了在行動(dòng)也不晚。

　　But when I grow up truly , I forget my dream and my ambition .

　　但是等我真的長大了，我卻忘了我的夢想和抱負(fù)。

　　So I will not avoid the tasks of today and charge them to tomorrow .

　　我不會(huì)逃避今天的責(zé)任，而把它們推給明天。

　　　　For I know that tomorrow never comes .因?yàn)槲抑�道明天永遠(yuǎn)不會(huì)到來。

　　Let me act now even though my actions may not bring success for it is better to act and fail than not be act and flounder .

　　　　讓我立刻行動(dòng)起來吧，即使這行動(dòng)不能帶來成功，但是哪怕行動(dòng)導(dǎo)致了失敗，也勝過坐以待斃。

　　Success will not wait . 成功不會(huì)等待。

　　If I delay , she will become betrothed another and lost ti me forever .

　　　　如果我遲疑，她會(huì)投入別人的懷抱，而我將永遠(yuǎn)失去它。

　　　　I will take every effort to accomplish my dream .i won’t let it become a fantasy , it is just my dream .maybe some years later , it will become true .

　　　　我會(huì)盡一切努力來完成我的夢想。我不會(huì)讓它成為空想，他只是我的夢想。可能再過幾年，夢想就會(huì)成真�！�

　　“when the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.
