how與what在句中換用的幾種情況

在英語(yǔ)中，how是個(gè)疑問(wèn)副詞，what是個(gè)疑問(wèn)代詞。在它們引起的句式中，有時(shí)可以互相換用，來(lái)表達(dá)相同或相似的意思。

一、問(wèn)天氣：How…？=What…like? 如：

How was the weather yesterday? 昨天的天氣怎么樣？

What was the weather like yesterday?

二、征求意見(jiàn)或建議：How about…?=What about…？如：

How about going skating?

What about going skating?去滑冰怎么樣？

三、問(wèn)年齡：How old…?=What…the age…？你多大歲數(shù)了？

四、問(wèn)看法：How…like…?=What…think of/about…? 如：

How do you like this film? 你認(rèn)為這部影片怎么樣?

What do you think of this film?

五、問(wèn)價(jià)錢(qián)：How much…？=What…the price 價(jià)錢(qián)）of…？如：

How much is the book?

What’s the price of the book? 這書(shū)多少錢(qián)？

六、“how／what+可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)”構(gòu)成感嘆句：How + adj. + a/ an+ n…!=What + a/an +adj. +n. …! 如：

How clever a girl she is! 她是個(gè)多么聰明的女孩子��！

What a clever girl she is!

七、“how/what+可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)或不可數(shù)名詞”構(gòu)成感嘆句，句子結(jié)構(gòu)有所不同，漢語(yǔ)意思也稍有差異。如：

How high the mountains are！這些山多高��！

What high mountains they are！多高的山��！

當(dāng)然，有些由how引起的感嘆句是不能用what進(jìn)行轉(zhuǎn)換的，如下列句子中的how不宜換用what。

How fast he is running！他跑得多快��！

How time flies！光陰似箭！
