學(xué)法指導(dǎo)
本單元的主要話題是比較中國(guó)的農(nóng)場(chǎng)和美國(guó)的農(nóng)場(chǎng),同時(shí)也將農(nóng)村與城市的生活進(jìn)行比較。這是一個(gè)將形容詞和副詞的比較級(jí)派上用場(chǎng)的語(yǔ)境。因此,可采用研究式學(xué)習(xí)方式,比較法、操練法相結(jié)合的學(xué)習(xí)。同學(xué)們可結(jié)合已學(xué)的顏色、季節(jié)、食物、運(yùn)動(dòng)等名詞開(kāi)展自由討論,熟練以上的句型。
語(yǔ)法建議
(1) 情景教學(xué),教師可以使用圖片展示運(yùn)動(dòng)員在運(yùn)動(dòng)場(chǎng)上的情景如跑步,賽車等活動(dòng),讓學(xué)生先運(yùn)用形容詞比較級(jí)和最高級(jí)的相關(guān)句型對(duì)運(yùn)動(dòng)員進(jìn)行描述再運(yùn)用副詞的比較級(jí)和最高級(jí)的相關(guān)句型對(duì)運(yùn)動(dòng)情景進(jìn)行口頭和筆頭的描述。

(2)先復(fù)習(xí)前一單元所學(xué)的形容詞比較級(jí)與最高級(jí)的構(gòu)成和使用,用old, small,到y(tǒng)oung等詞進(jìn)行復(fù)習(xí)檢測(cè),然后將這些詞變成beautiful, interesting, exciting等詞進(jìn)行本單元的重點(diǎn)內(nèi)容講解。具體方法可以通過(guò)實(shí)物、圖片或簡(jiǎn)筆畫對(duì)兩種或兩種以上的東西進(jìn)行對(duì)比。
(3)在引入本課語(yǔ)法項(xiàng)目時(shí),教師可以先出示一些形容詞和副詞,請(qǐng)幾個(gè)學(xué)生在黑板上寫出這些詞的比較級(jí)形式和最高級(jí)形式,其它學(xué)生在筆記本上寫。這些詞中有一些不規(guī)則的動(dòng)詞和多音節(jié)詞。然后對(duì)學(xué)生的錯(cuò)誤進(jìn)行糾正,加深學(xué)生印象,再幫助學(xué)生自己總結(jié)規(guī)律,并列出此表。

有關(guān)第13課的導(dǎo)入
(1)導(dǎo)語(yǔ) 。上次我們一起度過(guò)了中秋節(jié)。今天我們?nèi)マr(nóng)場(chǎng)看一看。此時(shí)教師讓學(xué)生先閉上眼睛。教師播放事先準(zhǔn)備好的錄音播放,如鳥(niǎo)叫,羊叫等聲音。同時(shí)出示放大圖片選自課本16頁(yè)圖1,制造出一種身臨其境的氛圍。
(2)圖畫內(nèi)容簡(jiǎn)介。教師可以就圖片內(nèi)容進(jìn)行提問(wèn):What is this? It is a picture of a farm. What is on the farm? There are some dogs, some cows, hills, and some trees and so on 。此時(shí),利用圖片講解部分新單詞。
(3)組織學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)對(duì)話。教師也可以播放媒體動(dòng)畫,制造情景。內(nèi)容詳見(jiàn)本單元媒體素材中的動(dòng)畫。
口語(yǔ)訓(xùn)練建議
(1)本單元的口語(yǔ)訓(xùn)練應(yīng)側(cè)重于運(yùn)用形容詞和副詞的比較級(jí)的相關(guān)句型介紹比較中美農(nóng)場(chǎng)的異同和農(nóng)村與城市的差異,教師組織學(xué)生就兩個(gè)主題進(jìn)行討論,在討論之前要求學(xué)生先要熟練掌握課文內(nèi)容,否則學(xué)生說(shuō)不出,將起不到預(yù)期的效果。
(2)教師也可以讓學(xué)生將第14課的課文改編成一個(gè)對(duì)話,然后再練習(xí)。
例如:
Jone: Where do you live?
Ji Wei :I live on a farm. What about you?
JOne: I live on a farm too. What is your farm like?
Ji wei: The farm isn’t big. My parents grow rice and wheat. The sky is blue and the hill is green. Jone: Do you like it?
Ji Wei: Certainly. Can you tell me something about your farm?
Jone: On my farm, there is a lake. I always go fishing there in the summer and skating there in the winter. We always grow corn and wheat. Which do you like better, the country or the city?

語(yǔ)音教學(xué)建議
oo組合在單詞中的發(fā)音規(guī)律不明顯,建議教師自己總結(jié)規(guī)律如:
A good cook looks book. 一個(gè)好廚師看書。這些詞中的 oo組合都發(fā)短元音/u /的音,便于學(xué)生記憶。

人教社教學(xué)用書p35-36的詞匯教學(xué)dingbat可以與該單元語(yǔ)法重點(diǎn)(比較級(jí)與最高級(jí))相結(jié)合進(jìn)行。如:

IIII. Leading - in
Use the overhead projector to show the picture in the book. Students describe it and guess what they are going to learn about the picture, explain words they may use to describe the picture. "Some animals can find food themselves but some can't. They wait for people to give them food. People give them food to eat, this is called "feed the animals" "In the picture, there are dogs, cows, hens, sheep, not only one kind, there are many kinds of them."
IV. Practice
Play the tape for the students to listen and check their answers. Explain the comparative of long adjectives. Give more examples, "My coat is beautiful. Her coat is more beautiful than mine."
Play the tape again for students to read after the tape, then act it out in front of the class in pairs.
V. Presentation
Call three students to the front and say, "Mary works hard. Lisa works harder than Mary. Lucy works harder than Lisa. Lucy works hardest of the three."
Say another group of sentences and get the students to repeat, "Linda gets up early. Karren gets up earlier than Linda. Green gets up earliest of all."
Then students look at the picture and read after the tape.
