師生共同準(zhǔn)備蔬菜實物若干。
【教學(xué)過程 】
熱身：
學(xué)生說唱本單元歌曲和歌謠。
復(fù)習(xí)：
游戲： 教師將幾個動物單詞卡片貼到黑板上，并在下面標(biāo)上序號，請任意學(xué)生說出其中一個單詞，其他學(xué)生說序號并模仿該動物的叫聲或動作。
教師說謎語，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生用Are they…?來猜猜是什么蔬菜。
They are red. They look like apples, but they aren’t apples. What are they?
They are tender and green. What are they?
They are long and orange. Rabbits like eating them. What are they?
They are round, pink and white. What are they?
They are brown. French fries are made of them. What are they?
學(xué)生猜對了，教師回答Yes，they are.并拿出相應(yīng)的單詞卡片請學(xué)生拼讀；如果猜錯了，教師回答No, they aren’t. 再請其他人猜, 直到猜對為止。
教師和學(xué)生聊一聊每個人喜愛的蔬菜或動物。

(三) 新課呈現(xiàn)：
教師請學(xué)生將裝有蔬菜的盒子蓋好放在桌子上，然后走到同學(xué)們中間，隨意指著幾個盒子問：Are these…?，并引導(dǎo)學(xué)生根據(jù)實際用Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t.回答。如果學(xué)生回答的是No, they aren’t. 教師要繼續(xù)問：What are these？并引導(dǎo)學(xué)生用They are …回答。（教師在操作時應(yīng)多問幾名學(xué)生，以增加語言的輸入量。）教師適時板書句型框架。
教師將自己帶來的蔬菜分別放在幾個盒子里，請幾個學(xué)生過來邊摸邊問：Are these …?或What are these？教師做出相應(yīng)的回答。
學(xué)生兩人一組運用黑板上的句型互相猜猜對方盒內(nèi)的蔬菜。
教師打開自制課件，請學(xué)生看一遍顧客和服務(wù)員的問答。然后提問：顧客為什么要用Are those cucumbers？問，而不用Are these cucumbers？問，兩者有什么區(qū)別？教師根據(jù)學(xué)生的理解情況適當(dāng)講Are those …的功能。
教師指著另外一盒蔬菜用Are those ...?隨意說一種蔬菜名，然后點擊，啟發(fā)學(xué)生根據(jù)看到的用Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t.回答。教師進(jìn)行板書。
教師分別指向其他三個盒子啟發(fā)學(xué)生用Are those..?提問，然后點擊印證，讓全班一起回答。
教師再次分別指著課件中貨架上的幾個盒子問：What are those？點擊后引導(dǎo)學(xué)生用They are …回答。 教師進(jìn)行板書。
（四）Let’s talk：
播放錄音2遍。
教師再次播放錄音（每兩句話按一次暫停），學(xué)生完成聽力練習(xí)：
Listen and circle：
Are these/those tomatoes？Yes，they are./ No, they aren’t.
These are/aren’t carrots.
They are/aren’t potatoes.
These/Those are onions.
Are these/those cucumbers? Yes, they are.
核對答案，了解學(xué)生完成情況。
學(xué)生聽錄音，后跟讀、模仿。
分小組做對話練習(xí)。
（五）Let’s check：
教師連續(xù)播放三次錄音。第一遍讓學(xué)生先聽錄音，第二遍勾出與錄音內(nèi)容相符的一項，第三遍檢查。錄音內(nèi)容如下：
Are these goats？ Yes，they are.
Are those horses? No, they aren’t.
Are these potatoes? Yes, they are.
Look at the hens. They are fat.
