　　1. as作連詞,引狀從。

　　1)表"當......時候",引時狀從,強調兩個動作同時發(fā)生,或某事一發(fā)生,另一事立即發(fā)生。

　　如：She sang a song as she walked. 她邊走邊唱著一首歌。

　　2)表"因為"、"由于",引原狀從，與because相近。

　　如：I must stop writing, as I have a lot of work to do. 我必須停筆,因為我有許多工作要做。

　　3)表"正如"、"按照""像......一樣",引方式/比較狀從。

　　如：Run as l do. (方狀從)/My brother is as tall as I am. 我弟弟和我一樣高。(比較狀從)

　　4)as經(jīng)常用在as... as possible結構中,表示"盡可能地......"。

　　如：as quickly as possible盡可能快,as much as possible盡可能多。

　　5)表"盡管"、"雖然",常用于倒裝句式,引讓步狀從。

　　如： Old as he was, he still worked very hard. 他雖然年齡大了,但工作還很努力。

　　2. as用作介詞，表"充當"、"作為"。

　　如：As a party member, I must be strict with myself. 作為一名黨員,我必須嚴格要求自己。

　　She is famous as a singer. 她作為一名歌手而聞名。

　　3. as構成一些固定搭配。

　　1)as well as 同,和......一樣;

　　如: My parents often go for a walk after supper as well as my brother. 我父母經(jīng)常晚飯后散步,我哥哥也是。
