假如今天是生命中的最后一天

　　I will live this day as if it is my last.

　　假如今天是我生命中的最后一天。

　　Can sand flow upward in the hour glass? Will the sun rise where it sets and set where it rises? Can I relive the errors of yesterday and right them? Can I call back yesterday’s wounds and make them whole? No. Yesterday is buried forever and I will think of it no more.

　　時光會倒流嗎?太陽會西升東落嗎?我可以糾正昨天的錯誤嗎?我能扶平昨日的創(chuàng)傷嗎?不能!過去的永遠(yuǎn)過去了，我不再去想它。

　　And what then shall I do? Forgetting yesterday neither will I think of tomorrow. Why should I throw note after maybe? Can tomorrow’s sand flow through the glass before today’s? Can I perform tomorrow’s deeds while standing in today’s path? Can I place tomorrow’s gold in today’s purse? No. Tomorrow lies buried with yesterday, and I will think of it no more.

　　我該怎么辦?忘記昨天，也不要癡想明天。明天是一個未知數(shù)，為什么要把今天的精力浪費(fèi)在未知的事上?想著明天的種種，今天的時光也白白流逝了。走在今天的路上，能做明天的事嗎?我能把明天的金幣放進(jìn)今天的錢袋里嗎?不能!明天和昨天一樣被我埋葬。我不再想它。

　　This day is all I have and these hours are now my eternity. I lift mine arms with thanks for this priceless gift of a new day. I am indeed a fortunate man and today’s hours are but a bonus, undeserved. Why have I been allowed to live this extra day when others, far better than I, have departed? Is this my day to excel?

　　這是我僅有的一天，是現(xiàn)實(shí)的永恒。我舉起雙手，感謝這無與倫比的一天。我是無比幸運(yùn)的人，今天的時光是額外的獎賞。許多強(qiáng)者都先我而去，為什么我得到這額外的一天?今天是不是我超越他人的機(jī)會?

　　I will live this day as if it is my last.

　　I have but one life and life is naught but a measurement of time. When I waste one I destroy the other. If I waste today I destroy the last page of my life. Therefore, each hour of this day will I cherish for it can never return. It cannot be banked today to be withdrawn on the morrow, for who can trap the wind? Each minute of this day will I grasp with both hands and fondle with love for its value is beyond price. What dying man can purchase another breath though he willingly gives all his gold? What price dare I place on the hours ahead? I will make them priceless!

　　生命只有一次，而人生也不過是時間的累積。我若讓今天的時光白白流逝，就等于毀掉人生最后一頁。因此，我珍惜今天的一分一秒，因?yàn)樗鼈儗⒁蝗ゲ粡?fù)返。我無法把今天存入銀行，明天再來取用。時間像風(fēng)一樣不可捕捉。每一分一秒，我要用雙手捧住，用愛心撫摸，因?yàn)樗鼈內(nèi)绱藢氋F。垂死的人用畢生的錢財(cái)都無法換得一口生氣。我無法計(jì)算時間的價值，它們是無價之寶。

　　The duties of today I shall fulfill today. Today I shall fondle my children while they are young; tomorrow they will be gone, and so will I. Today I shall embrace my woman with sweet kisses; tomorrow she will be gone, and so will I. Today I shall lift up a friend in need; tomorrow he will no longer cry for help, nor will I hear his cries. Today I shall give myself in sacrifice and work; tomorrow I will have nothing to give, and there will be none to receive.

　　今日事今日畢。今天我要趁孩子還小的時候，多加愛護(hù)，明天他們將離我而去，我也會離開。今天我要深情地?fù)肀�我的妻子，給她甜蜜的熱吻，明天她會離去，我也是。今天我要幫助落難的朋友，明天他不再求援，我也聽不到他的哀求。我要樂于奉獻(xiàn)，因?yàn)槊魈煳覠o法給予，也沒有人來領(lǐng)受了。

　　And if it is my last, it will be my greatest monument. This day I will make the best day of my life. This day I will drink every minute to its full. I will savor its taste and give thanks. I will make the every hour count and each minute I will trade only for something of value. I will labor harder than ever before and push my muscles until they cry for relief, and then I will continue. I will make more calls than ever before. I will sell more goods than ever before. I will earn more gold than ever before. Each minute of today will be more fruitful than hours of yesterday. My last must be my best.

　　如果這是我的末日，那么它就是不朽的紀(jì)念日，我把它當(dāng)成最美好的日子。我要把每分每秒化為甘露，一口一口，細(xì)細(xì)品嘗，滿懷感激。我要每一分鐘都有價值。我要加倍努力，直到精疲力竭。即使這樣，我還要繼續(xù)努力。我要拜訪更多的顧客，銷售更多的貨物，賺取更多的財(cái)富。今天的每一分鐘都勝過昨天的一個小時，最后的也是最好的。

　　I will live this day as if it is my last. And if it is not, I shall fall to my knees and give thanks.

　　假如今天是我生命中的最后一天。如果不是的話，我要跪倒在上蒼面前，深深致謝。
