Different people have different attitudes towards money.For example, some of the rich are very mean with their money, while some of them are quite generous. Some people lack of money but they are not absorbed in pursuit of wealth while some people regard money as everything. As far as I am concerned, money is necessary for all of us, but it is not all for us.
不同的人對(duì)于金錢(qián)持有不同的態(tài)度。比如說(shuō)，有些有錢(qián)人花錢(qián)很吝嗇，而有些則很慷慨。有些人缺錢(qián)用但不沉迷于追求財(cái)富，而有些人則把金錢(qián)視為一切。在我看來(lái)，金錢(qián)對(duì)于我們是必需的，但金錢(qián)不是我們的全部。
For one thing, money is necessary for all of us. In modern society, money is one of tools for measure the value and can be used to exchange materials. All materials we need for our basic existence is all about money. Without money, our existence will be threatened and we can not find our way to live. Therefore, all of us need to earn money to afford us and our family basic needs, such as food, clothes and house.
一方面，金錢(qián)對(duì)我們來(lái)說(shuō)是必需的。在現(xiàn)代社會(huì)，金錢(qián)是衡量?jī)r(jià)值的工具之一，并且可以用來(lái)交換物質(zhì)資料。我們生存所必需的所有物質(zhì)資料都和金錢(qián)有關(guān)。沒(méi)有金錢(qián)，我們的生存就會(huì)受到威脅，我們就沒(méi)法生活。因此，我們所有人都需要學(xué)會(huì)賺錢(qián)來(lái)提供基本的生活需求，比如食物，衣服和房子。
For another, money is not all for us. Though money can be used to exchange our basic needs, it is not almighty. For example, we cannot use money to buy a real love or ability with money. Hence, just as the saying goes, “money is good servant but a bad master”. We cannot be controlled by money so that we will not be a pathetic slave of money.
另一方面，金錢(qián)不是我們的全部。雖然金錢(qián)可以用來(lái)交換我們的基本需求，但它不是萬(wàn)能的。比如說(shuō)，我們用金錢(qián)買(mǎi)不到一段真摯的愛(ài)，買(mǎi)不到真正的能力。因此，正如俗話所說(shuō)：“人要支配錢(qián)，不要叫錢(qián)支配人”。我們不能被金錢(qián)所控制，這樣我們才不會(huì)淪為金錢(qián)的奴隸。
In short, we need money but we should not regard money as our only purpose. Only hold this attitude can we use our money properly.
