One of the principles universally advocated by all the religions and cultures of the world is respect for elderly. In my opinion, the contributions that seniors have made to our society, and the wisdom and guidance that they can offer us, makes such respect well-earned and deserved.
We have inherited this world from our parents and grandparents. The elderly have worked to provide for their families, for society and for younger generations. The wisdom and experience of elderly people also make them the pillars of multigenerational households.In conclusion, it is the aged among us who have enabled us to enjoy the lives we live today. Our elders have knowledge and experience that we are yetto attain, and have lived in a world that we will never know. Accordingly, I believe that we owe them our gratitude, love and respect.
