My new deskmate is a boy of sixteen. His name is Zhang Gao. He is 1.8 meters tall. His strongly-built body and sun-tanned skin make him look like a sportsman. He has two big dark eyes under a pair of thick eyebows. It seems that they are always smiling at you. Compared with my yellow hair, his hair is black and thick. He speaks a little bit fast but very clearly. However, he likes to gesture from time to time while hes talking. He has a dream of becoming a famous actor one day. I believe his dream will come true because of his handsome face and well-developed figure.

I often go to see my grandma and grandpa during my summer vacation.They are both seventy years old and live in the country happily. Summer view of the countryside is very beautiful. I can do many interesting things there. I am used to getting up early in the morning breathing the fresh airlistening to the birds singing and enjoying the green trees red flowers and the river. I like fishing with my friends.
When night comes I sit under the tree with my grandma listening to her telling me many funny stories. And I tell her some new things happening in the city. When I have to go backI am always reluctant to go. I really feel happy living in the country.

Today is an exciting day. In the morning we had the singing contest. Everyone did well in it. Somebody sans lyrics and somebody didn’t. When the result came out, only audrey and ellison could be in the second run. Vanessa was very sad. But finally she was in the second run. It was really great news for her.
We stayed in our rooms for the whole afternoon. We played cards, slept, read, practiced some english songs for the contest and did out homework.It was a little boring.
In the evening, we had the final singing contest. It was really great. At last, vanessa got the second prize. Congratulations to her! All of us were proud of her. Edle gave her a bunch of flowers! then we returned to our rooms.
It was really a good day today!

My summer vacation of this year was very enjoyable. I went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays. It is very beautiful there. There are green plants, clear rivers, lovely animals and kind people. I spent two weeks helping my grandfather do some farm work there. I wrote down what happened in my diary every day.
Besides that, I helped the children in the neighbourhood with their lessons. I helped them read English and improve their spoken English. Their parents thanked me for this.

We always went to McDonalds to have lunch after we finish the game. My sister and me like swimming, so in the afternoon, we went to swimming with our father. It was so cool! Now, the summer holiday is coming to the end. I really spend a rich but happy holiday. As a junior student, I am not totally free in the summer holiday, because study is still an important part in my life. In the first month of the holiday, I study at home to finish my homework.
There are many tasks I have to finish. Besides, I have to go to the English and mathtraining class, because I am weak inthe two subjects. Therefore, I need some extra training. After that, I visit to my father with my mother. My father works in other province and I have not seen him for half a year. My mother and I miss him very much. We spend near a month with him.When my father is free, he often takes us go out. We are happy together.
